"Yeah. Lucky us." Allie sighed, her shoulders slumping a little as she blew out a long, steady breath. When she was finished, she circled the bench and took a seat next to Gabe, as he'd been good enough to sit up and clear a spot. She didn't mind striking out on her own; she'd done it often enough in the past. But as she'd learned as of late, it was always better with someone else to watch her back. Her slim, calloused fingers curled around the edge of the bench as she leaned forward, not quite comfortable enough to slouch back and relax.
"Well, who knows? A bus might come." Whether he wanted to board it or not, she was willing to give it a go. "I'll wait it out with ya for a little while, anyway."
